Fight Infertility with Fashion

This post has been something that I have wanted to express for awhile. Like many girls the worry of infertility began at a young age. Unfortunately this worry hit a little closer to home as my husband was diagnosed with a pituitary brain tumor in 2014. After meeting with a doctor we were told that due to the brain tumor he might be infertile or go infertile in the future. While we haven’t tried having kids yet it’s a worry that we might not be able to conceive on our own.

I recently discovered Carissa Miss, which is a clothing company that donates 40% of all proceeds to Footsteps for Fertility. It is a non-profit organization that provides grants to couples with infertility. Not only does this great dress company raise money for a great cause, but the clothes are fashionable and affordable.

I paired this fabulous black dress with a fun cheetah print infinity scarf and brown boots. I normally avoid pairing black and brown together, but I decided to break some fashion rules. I’m pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Let me know what you think below. Thanks for looking.

  4. I used to avoid wearing black and brown together too, but not anymore! In fact, love them together.

Thanks for introducing Carissa Miss here. I hadn’t heard of them before, but I am always interested in fashion retailers who give back to the community in some way.
