Wearing Ugly Christmas Sweaters

This post is sponsored by Tipsy Elves

I have been obsessed with collecting Ugly Christmas Sweaters since High School. I remember spending hours at the thrift store to find the ugliest Christmas sweater possible. In college I continued this habit on and would spend time finding the best vintage Christmas sweaters. I would even attend a few Ugly Christmas parties where I would sport one of the many sweaters from my vast collection. Right before Casey and I first started dating in college we went to an Ugly Christmas sweater party. I somehow managed to convince him to wear one of my Ugly Sweaters to the party. Now that we are married I am lucky if I can get him to put one on.

I had a blast at the shoot with these gorgeous friends of mine. We were lucky enough to be able to collaborate with Tipsy Elves. They have a huge selection of Ugly Sweaters. We each had to pick out one sweater to wear. It was funny when we were all picking out the sweaters. Each person picked out a sweater that matched their personality perfect. Back in the 90s I used to have a sweater just like the one I picked out. It had a cat inside of a present but the sweater was black not green.

When it comes to styling Christmas Sweater there are a lot of options. It was fun seeing how each person styled their sweater. You can go a fancy route like Keara or Karli and go with sequins. Or you can go with a more casual look like Chelsie, Kate, Cayli, and myself. Regardless of how you style your sweater the biggest factor is that it makes you happy.

Big thanks to Sadie Banks Photography for the great pictures.
