I tend to get depressed during the winter time bec

I tend to get depressed during the winter time because I don’t spend any time outside. I made it a goal this year to find a winter hobby/sport. Cross country skiing is so much fun. It has been so much fun learning all the things about it and seeing a different side of winter. Also, I only fell twice and didn’t bruise my tailbone this time around. I am looking forward to the next time that I go.

I tend to get depressed during the winter time because I don’t spend any time outside. I made it a goal this year to find a winter hobby/sport. Cross country skiing is so much fun. I think I found my favorite winter sport. Cross country skiing was so much fun. Even though I fell at least 10 times (I was treating it like Alpine skiing) and most likely bruised or broke my tailbone. I am looking forward to going again soon. Do you have any fun winter hobbies/sports?

Happy craniversary to my home slice. 6 years ago he had brain surgery to remove a brain tumor. I remember when he told me about the tumor I was so worried what our future would be like. We were both young and had only been married for a year. Here we are 6 years later and he is tumor free.

Went on a little snow shoe adventure yesterday. It was so much fun seeing Theo have so much fun playing around in the snow. He loved walking over to the deep snow and sinking in. He also loved to roll off the sled while it was moving.

Today was one of those hard mom kind of days. Theo

Today was one of those hard mom kind of days. Theo didn’t want to sleep last night and woke up in an extra naughty mood. I was pretty worn out. When we got home from the grocery store I went to lay on the floor. He ran and grabbed me a pillow and a blanket. He placed the blanket (his blanky) and said, “Love you mommy”. Mom life can be incredibly hard but it also has its sweet little moments that I wouldn’t trade anything for.

I was looking through old photos and I came across

I was looking through old photos and I came across these two photos. The first one was taken 8 hours after I had my son. I was exhausted, happy, anxious, and super swollen. I had expected the swelling to go down pretty fast but it took a few months for my face, nose, fingers, and ankles to go back to normal. The second photo was taken 4 days postpartum. My body felt so foreign to me. It didn’t look anything like it did pre baby and it looked different from when I was pregnant. Motherhood isn’t a walk in the park. It has moments where I have no idea what I’m doing, and other moments of pure joy. I’m thankful for this wonderful community of women I’ve been able to connect with and enjoy this crazy adventure with

I tend to get depressed and my anxiety gets bad this time of year. My therapist told me to find some fun winter activities to help combat that. I used to go snowboarding and skiing a lot as a kid. However I’m thinking about getting into cross country skiing and/or snow shoe. Do you have a favorite winter activity?

One of my resolution for 2020 was to travel more.

One of my resolution for 2020 was to travel more. Hahahahaha that definitely didn’t happen. However, I did get a trip to Mexico in before the whole world shut down. 2020 was a year... a year that I definitely won’t forget. Not necessarily in a good way... but it was memorable. Cheers to 2021 and hopefully someone finally wins Jumanji so that we can go back to normal.
